About

Stature exists to form disciples, not to manufacture engagement.

Most apps aimed at teenagers are built to hold attention, streaks, points, notifications engineered to bring you back. Stature is trying something different: a small, honest pattern (Discover, Plan, Act, Reflect) that helps a teen walk their own path around eternal truths, at their own pace, in their own words.

Why the app is built this way

Every design choice is measured against one question: does this deepen a teen’s own agency and relationship with Jesus Christ, or does it put the app, or an adult, at the center instead? If a feature cannot pass that test, it does not ship, no matter how much it might increase engagement.

In practice that means some things you might expect from a youth app are deliberately absent: no points or levels, no leaderboard, no streak to protect, and no way for a parent or leader to read a teen’s private reflections. A trusted adult can be invited in, but only ever sees what a teen chooses to share.

Who is building it

Stature is an independent project from Soutenir Services. It is not produced, reviewed, or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and it is not trying to replace Gospel Living, Come, Follow Me, or any Church-published resource. It is aiming at something narrower and complementary: a private, reflective habit a teen can carry on their own.

Stature is still in development. There is no app to download yet. This site exists to explain the idea and let interested families and leaders hear about it as it takes shape.
